New Picture of Focus in Germany

Well Ladies and Gentleman,

I have been living in Germany for one year now working at Dresseurstall Christian Reisch and have another 8 to 10 months to go.

The last few weeks have been particularly exciting for myself and my horse (Focus).

At her first show under Mr. Reisch at Dresseupferde M (3rd level for young horses 6 and 7 years old) she received a score of 7.3 and was one out of the placings. Placing started with 6th place with a score of 7.4, thus Focus was in 7th place of over 30 horses, some of which were Buneschampionate contenders. The following week she was at another show at the same level and received a score of 7.1 and was two out of placing. Then after a few weeks of a break she went to her first show with myself at L level in the double bridle(a cross between second and third level). In a class with over 44 riders I managed to place. Then the highlight thus far was this last weekend.

On Friday Mr. Reisch took her to another show, this time Dresseurpferde L (2nd/third level for 5 and 6 year olds). Her final score was 8.0 and she won the class with 32 horses. Then again yesterday (Sunday) she was at a show at Dresseurpferde M and received a score of 7.5 (Including and 8.0 for trot) and placed second. First place had a score of 7.6 and had she not had a small head bobble (The started to play music) in the walk tour she would have won. Third place had a score of 7.3 and this was a Bundeschampionate qualifieed horse!!In the coming weeks she will be in full swing with horse shows.

All this pretty impressive for a small Canadian bred mare.
