This column will be about bringing along a young horse from scratch. It will deal with problems you may encounter along the way and answer any questions you may have about any young horse.

I hope that you will find this both interesting and helpful. I currently train with my father Thomas Urff and Albrecht Heidemann through clinics put on by the BC Young Rider Dressage Program.

If you have any questions or suggestions for me please do not hesitate to email me at turff@shaw.ca and I will respond appropriately.

Please accompany Focus and me along the journey of Paddock to Podium!
    Happy Riding!
